It was quiet. Probably quieter than we expected. First of all there are TWO Full Moon Resorts in Mui Ne. The Full Moon Village Resort and the Full Moon Beach Resort. One is in the heart of the beach action, one is 30km further up the coast and although sports a very clean private beach, is rather isolated from other services and entertainment. We ended up in this one which is the Full Moon Village Resort. Even Google Maps has a problem getting you to this one. However, it was clean. The two bed villa was spacious and the rooms were nicely scented on arrival. The bed was western comfortable and King Size. The villa itself had walled surrounds but not 100% Private. The were 4 of everything in the cupboards and some cooking implements. The advertised Jacuzzi in the outside grounds would not pass a H&S check anywhere apart from Vietnam, but the staff cleaned it out and refilled it twice while we were there without issue. It was missing its protective cover over the siphon vent and would bite if you got a body part near it. The jets were vigorous to say the least. But it was a place to relax and chat when the sun shone. The breakfast was a mixture of Vietnamese and Scandinavian fayre, with generous amounts of fruit juice and a coffee pot on the go. The bacon and eggs were very good. It was the rainy season, so you will always expect the VN hotels to be running with minimal provisions, but the scant Minibar could not be fully topped up from stores after we raided it the first night due to stock issues. Similarly, the 'entertainment' of kayaks, paddle boards and windsurfers were all locked away and the guard on duty had no intention of letting anyone have fun in those as the waters promised to drag you away and possibly drown you. Wind with windsurfing really doesn't mix I guess. The billiard table had last seen some love in 1989. The restaurant did provide an evening menu, which included the customary Vietnamese Fish Hotpots.

Lovely and huge villa about 1500sq feet. AC worked well but only in bedrooms. The main room with kitchen, living and dining room had no insulation. We kept bedrooms closed to decrease AC loss and mosquitoes in bedroom. Best breakfasts in Vietnam that were included with cost of stay. Could order it off menu, but Saturday was an all you can eat buffet. The front desk ordered bus ride directly from their lodge resort to Nha Trang. They got us a sleeper bus that cost discounted 200K per person. They picked us up on the highway in front of resort at 2:30pm and we got to Nha Trang no problem around 630pm with one restroom stop. Have them call for bus. We did not need a ticket, just paid when he picked us up. The advantage of being so isolated was also its disadvantage, if you don’t have car. Need to have them call for a taxi because we tried calling for a grab to go into Mui Ne and none ever came. But we only waited a few minutes before canceling the ride. It says it costs around 177K to go to town center. It was perfect because the kids were sick with high fevers and it allowed them to recuperate in such a large dwelling. The pool was excellent. The registration desk and restaurant are close to beach, not at the street highway road. Beach water was a bit rough and a herd of cows are walked down the beach to graze at an abandoned property two doors down. Felt very private as if no other people there.

Surpassed my expectations after carefully reading all the reviews. I'd read that it was a little older and basic, but it really just added to the charm. I specifically chose Full Moon Village as I knew they were gated villas so my dog could run about. My dog was super happy with this! The furniture was also designed to be waterproof and dog friendly indoors. Jacuzzi was available too! I also loved that there was a kitchen. A heads up that air conditioning is in the bedroom only, but fans are available in all other areas. Resident pups were friendly and super sweet.

Becca

We chose this accommodation because they allowed pets and offered private villas with garden. And it did not dissapoint. Huge private villa's with a lot of garden space for our dogs to roam around. The villa was very comfortable, well equiped, well maintained and clean. We used the kitchen daily to prepare our own meals (only used breakfast from the hotel. Buffet on busy days and a la carte when quiet). Staff was very friendly and replied promptly to all of our requests.

Elisabeth

Excellent sized villas with private gardens and all secure so our 3 dogs could have the freedom to explore and play for hours. Kitchen meant we were able to cook some nights for ourselves. Super friendly staff and excellent swimming pool. Nice and quiet location with easy access to the beach. Good range of cocktails, wines and beers and staff were happy to cater for drinks and food to be arranged at your villa if you didn't feel like staying in the bar/restaurant.
